Harnessing safety

Skyjack UK Ltd has become one of the first access companies in the UK to purchase the new ZT Safety Harness for their operatives.
The Award winning ZT (Zero Trauma) Harness is set to revolutionise working at height safety as it eliminates the need for groin straps and prevents suspension trauma. The harness is manufactured and distributed by Hickstead (UK) based company ZT Safety Systems.
Ease of use and operator comfort is achieved by the patented ZT leg gaiter system, transferring the load to the user’s calf muscles as opposed to conventional groin straps, allowing for total freedom of movement when climbing through tight spaces, bending down or driving a vehicle.
Senior technician Dave Bendall says: “After a few minutes you would not even know you are wearing a harness.”
